AGAINST MOVEMENT -- PLUS LENSES 

Sit or stand at a normal distance from the desk or table top, and hold the plus lens about 1" above the paper.

As you move the lens to the right, observe the movement of the image of the edge of the paper through the lens.

As the lens moves to the right, the image of the edge moves to the left. As the lens moves to the left, the image of the edge moves to the right.
