Controlling Surface Reflections
Base curve selection – “large” change (flattening or steepening) the curve may move the reflection out of the wearer’s direct vision.
- Increased cost/turn around for special grinds.
- Increased peripheral aberrations from not using corrected curve design.
- May not correct the particular reflection causing the problem.
- May affect spectacle magnification.
- May be cosmetically unacceptable.
