Choosing an material by it’s index
This gets tricky. All of the other attributes, that the coating material must adhere to the lens, withstand normal wear and cleaning, and not dissolve in water, are hard to find.
As a result, the material used is a compromise and therefore the amount of reflection neutralized is imperfect.
